? | Why do I get Error 403 / "Access denied" when trying to sync with OCS |
! | OCS issues Error 403 when you try to synchronize a device or software version that is not marked certified in your OCS server installation and your server is set to reject non-certified devices (which is an option your sysadmin has set for some reason - default OCS installations do not have this option set).
Note that Synthesis clients are certified for OCS, but for OCS to recognize current versions of Synthesis clients, it must be up-to-date with current Oracle releases.
If possible, you should try to have your server updated with the latest patches from Oracle, as these contain certifications (profiles) for newer Synthesis clients that might be missing in older versions.
Alternatively, you could ask your sysadmin to allow non-certified devices. |
